David Cotie is an employee benefit consultant, specializing in group health insurance for small, medilum and large sized companies. He can also advise clients on many other forms of employee benefits like 401(k's), group dental, group life insurance and group disability amongst others. GHS also provides general Human Resource consulting and claims advocacy services for their clients.

David is also a certified Medicare product specialist and versed in a wide range of Medicare Advantage plans and supplements. David started his professional career working on Wall Street after graduating college in 1995. He eventually worked his way up as a top producer for Dean Witter Reynolds before moving on to Morgan Stanley after the two companies merged in 1997. In April, 2002, David left Morgan Stanley, to join a start up insurance brokerage called Group Health Solutions(GHS)and launched a career in the realm of employee benefits. GHS works with over 1,500 clients, some as large as 3,000 employees down to family owned operations with as little as 2 employees. GHS operates under the motto, 'Taking the Hassle out of Health Insurance' and the agency excels in building client relationships and providing excellent service.

GHS specializes in 'Out-of-the Box' strategies, like partially-self funded health plans for example, to help larger clients control soaring healthcare costs. For smaller clients with 2-50 employees, GHS is vigilant to advise them on the best values in the community rated health insurance market. All of Dave's clients, no matter what the size, enjoy personal attention and advisement. David and GHS serve clients primarily in the Tri-State area but has clients as far south as Florida and as far west as California.

Originally from Rochester, New York, David obtained degrees in Economics and Philosophy from the State University at Buffalo. He has been a resident of New York since 1995 and currently resides in mid-town Manhattan with his wife of 5 years, Alison.
